{Christmas in Atlanta}

Our Christmas in Atlanta this year was filled with 70 degree weather, hot coco, Santa, winter wonderland, lots of running, playing with baby Jesus {Ryker LOVES his little people manger}, Christmas light ooooo'ing and awwwww'ing {Ryker is really into Christmas decor}, ward party, Skyping, and present opening.

 Ryker and I went to Bass Pro Shop's winter wonderland to meet Santa {they even gave us a FREE picture but I forgot to scan it before we left for Ut}. Ryker it was so fun to see how excited you were about all of the Christmas deco. It defiantly got me in the Christmas mood. You didn't even hate on Santa. You were just kind of unsure about him.

 You got to ride your first 4-wheeler and you thought you were pretty cool and all grown up.

 The three of us had a great time seeing the lights at the Botanical Gardens. Ryker, your favorite part was watching the Choo Choo drive around and around. Daddy's favorite part was the really cool snowflake lights hanging in the trees. My favorite part was being with my boys enjoying the lights. I love Christmas lights!

 Ryker at our ward Christmas party you found the microphone and decided to sing us all a little tone while waiting to sit on Santa's lap. It was pretty cute.

 We had so much fun opening presents with Nana and Papa via skype. Love Love Love skype! This play table is going to bring hours and hours of fun play!

 It was fun to hook the computer up to the TV. It felt like Nana and Papa were really there with us.

 Daddy snuggles are the BEST!

Ryker you got us these sweet Emory sweats. Thank you we love them!

 I just love those curls. I hope you keep them FOREVER!

We had so much fun playing with all of your new toys before we headed out to Utah. 

I am so excited for Christmas part 2{Delta} and part 3 {Springville}.

{A Texas Thanksgiving}

We decided to make the 12 hour drive on over to Texas to spend Thanksgiving with Pete and Shellie and meet little miss Lilly. It was a long, very long drive but we made it!

 Ryker was loving that we turned him around for this trip. He thought he was such a cool little dude. He also was loving all the snacks/treats he got to eat. They were our saving grace. Now every time we get in the car he says "snack" or "show" over and over again. Poor kid doesn't understand that all of that was special for the long road trip.

 We had a great night at the park.

 On Thanksgiving I had Brady bring the camera down into the kitchen so we would make sure to get pictures. Ummm... yeah that still didn't happen. Oops!

 Ryker will be best friends with anyone willing to read him stories.

 At least we managed to get one picture with all the kiddies.

Jon and Uncle Brady are best buddies. They love playing the Wii together and Jon is really good at teaching Brady new games on the i Touch. 

We had such a blast. I love that we were able to spend Thanksgiving with family and meet our newest niece.Thanks for having us.

Oh and I can't forget to tell ya'll about our Black Friday shopping experience. Brady, Shellie, and I left at 11pm to get in line at Target for the midnight opening. It was cold and a VERY long line but we waited. Once we finally got in Brady was a champ and waited in a new line for 2 more hours to get our new camera. I say it was worth it but I'm not sure if he does {maybe once I learn how to use it he will be happier about it}. While Brady stayed in line Shellie and I headed over to Kohls {Never again will we do Black Friday shopping there - SO NOT worth it}. We found our things and waited in line to check out for 2 1/2 hours. We did not get home until 5am. Mind you this is after Shellie had works the night before 7pm - 7am and we had driven 13 hours and arrived to Texas at 2am and then cooked Thanksgiving dinner, went on a run, and took care of kids. Needless to say we were VERY sleepy come Friday and didn't do much until the evening other than sleep. Thanks Pete for staying home with the sleeping kids and getting up with all 5 of them bight and early that morning so the rest of us could get some sleep. Oh the CRAZY things we will do to save a few $$$. I just might be over all of the crazyness of this shopping day.

We are thankful for our family, good health, food, a warm home, the gospel, a living prophet- Thomas S. Monson, The Book of Mormon, the Temple, eternal families, love, good cars, giggles, games, Blue Bell ice cream, books, movies, skype, the internet, school, air planes {I really dislike road trips}, cell phones, blogs, digital cameras, friends, my running buddy, my jogger, and snuggles in front of the Christmas tree.
