{Witches Lunch}

Last week I hosted my annual Witches Lunch. It was a whirlwind of a successful party. I am sad that this was my last time throwing this party here in Atlanta but I'm sure next year where ever we are I will have friends to do it with there. A HUGE thanks to everyone who came and spent the morning with us. It was a pleasure.
 This year I decided to be a scary witch. I even stuffed my booty but now looking at the pictures with my baby weight it just looks like I naturally have that big of booty and therefore none of those pictures will be viewed on the blog. haha. When I walked out of the bathroom from doing my makeup Ryker said "mommy take it off" and when I picked Grayson up he stared crying, needless to say I don't think they liked it. But we all got a good kick out of it. It was a fun change on my witches costume.

 Grammy was such a great help with the boys and in the kitchen. I don't think I could have done it all on my own.
I am so happy that we were able to get a picture of almost all of the Witches!!
This almost never happens.

{Monsters}

Ryker and Grammy had a blast this morning on the iPad making "Ryker Monsters" We thought they turned out pretty funny. Fun way to entertain your 2 year old!

{Nana's in town}

 Grayson enjoyed lots of Nana snuggles.
 Ryker enjoyed "sitting in the sun" with Nana.
Ryker discovered Brady's cowboy hat and was so obsessed with it that it had to go to be with him and became a great sippy holder. This made me laugh.

We were so grateful to have Nana come out and help with the boys and had a blast with her here. Thanks for coming!!

{Pumpkins}

 Painting pumpkins was the perfect activity for this guy. This was the fist time we tried finger painting. Ryker did really well with it and had a blast. I love that he is now getting big enough to be doing more crafts and activities. So fun!

 I suppose he is MY child.... he did NOT like it when he got a little bit of paint on his fingers.
We were having a blast jamming out to some great Halloween music. Ryker had some sweet dance moves going on and as soon as he realized I was recording him of course he stopped.

Ryker was totally fascinated by our jack-o-lantern.
 This cute little frog boy is not a fan of bath time. I am hoping this will change once his umbilical cord falls off and we can put him in his tub. We all decided that he looks different everyday. Its crazy how much they change. Too bad my rockstar sleeper is no more... silly karma with my last post of how great he was sleeping at night.... now he is waking up every 2 hours and I'm not loving it so much.
Anytime I pull out the camera to take a picture of Grayson, Ryker wants to have his picture taken also. Its pretty cute. Moments like this remind me how much I love this crazy monster boy. It is a phase and I know it will pass. This is what I have to remind myself 100 times a day.

{Apple Festival}

If you live in Atlanta and know me then you know how much I LOVE the Hillcrest Orchards apple festival. We have gone there every year we have lived here. Ryker had a BLAST with mama and Nana and Grayson this year. I didn't get any pictures of the pig races this year but being an Olympic year they decided to add a swimming race {YES swimming} for the piggies. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen an animal do.
Ryker is kind of a chicken and was NOT very fond of the big bouncy pillow. He just wanted to play in the sand.
He really enjoyed riding the bike. We went around and around the track tons of times.
Ryker's favorite things were drinking Nana's southern lemonade {super sour fresh squeezed lemon juice with no added sugar} and eating fresh made apple fritters and apple donuts. The apple fritter was AMAZING!! I wish I would have bought more than just the one.
As you can tell by our faces Ryker enjoyed the slide more than me. Right before this we went down a different HUGE slide and at the bottom it dropped like 2 inches and I slammed my butt on the hard ground and I thought I was going to die. Maybe not the best idea for doing a week after having a baby. Ooops! live and learn.

 Nana and Ryker loved petting all of the baby goats, sheep, cows, chickens, bunnies and chicks. This was the first time Ryker had seen these animals as babies. He was in LOVE with them.

I am so glad we were able to make it one last time to the apple festival before we graduate. We wish Brady could have joined us but he was busy helping at the Georgia Special Olympics.

{My Precious}

We are so in love with our precious baby Gray.

I just want to remember all of my sweet Grayson's tiny features before he grows too much.
 Ryker wanted to be part of the photo shoot. He is a VERY loving {sometimes too much} big brother. He loves giving BIG hugs and smothering Grayson. Here is a BIG hug in action.
Pure brotherly love!

{Pumpkin Festival}

October is my favorite month. I love fall. I love all of the fun activities you can do with your kids and I really love Halloween! I am so happy that I have been recovering so quickly so that we can take Ryker to do all of my favorite things. And this year he is finally big enough to enjoy them too. Thanks to Nana's we are able to make this happen.
 Ryker had a blast playing the the HUGE sand box. He is ALL boy and we LOVE it!
 Throwing beanbags into the pumpkin hole. Ryker had so much fun doing this we played here for about 15 minuets and then had to come back a second time to throw them some more.
 Ryker decided that the pink hat looked better on him than the scarecrow.

 This made my day that Ryker said "mom take my picture with the pumpkins!" I could not really get him to smile but he was having fun playing with all of the pumpkins!

 Nana has saved me! Ryker has totally been loving on her and this has been wonderful because he has been really hard for me since Grayson was born. He is going to be a sad little guy when she leaves.
 Nana is the best story reader. Especially when Ryker gets to read her books on her nook. They just laugh and laugh together.
 We cant have a post without a few cute picts of this cute guy. I cant believe how much he has already changed since he was born. He is such an awesome baby! He is a GREAT sleeper and eater. When we go out on adventures he just sleeps the whole time in his car seat. He is also a rockstar sleeper at night. I usually wake him up around 11pm to eat before I go to bed and then he wakes up around 2:30 or 3am and sleeps until 6:30am and goes back to bed until like 8 or 9am. If only Ryker would sleep in later so I could actually enjoy this awesome schedule!

{Brothers first meet}

Ryker came to the hospital on Thursday to meet Grayson for the first time. When he first came in he wanted to look at Gray but not hold/touch him. After hanging out for about an hour he then wanted to hold baby Gray and did NOT want to let go of him.

He was being so sweet and soft with Gray.
Family of 4!

We are one big happy family. Ryker has been my BIG helper. He loves to bring me the boppy when it is time to feed Grayson, he likes to give Gray his binky, share his toys with him when he is in the swing, as soon as Gray makes one cry he is quick to say "mom Gray is crying, can you get him", he loves to talk about "his brother" and "his baby". We are thrilled that he is loving Grayson so much. As for how much he likes me and Brady right now I would have to say 80% of the day he hates us. Everything makes Ryker melt down. He has started kicking the kitchen chairs over in frustration and hitting himself. The hitting himself part makes me really sad. We are working through all of the change. Here is to hoping that we can figure this all out quickly and that I will have patients to handle all of this change. It will be nice to have Nana and Grammy here to help give Ryker lots of special fun time.
