{Christmas Vacation :: Pigeon Forge :: Gingerbread Houses}

Another reason this hotel was so amazing. One of our afternoon activities was Gingerbread House making. This was super fabulous because I got to enjoy the project with the boys and not have to spend the time setting it all and cleaning it all up. We just got to do the fun parts - create and eat!

This bad boy kept us busy for hours. It was a blast. I love watching the boys creativity shine while doing projects like this.
Mrs. Claus came to visit.

I'm Back!

I'm Back
2015
 was a crazy blur of a year. It makes me sad that I was not able to blog but here is to my new years resolution to blog at least once a week in 2016. And who knows maybe I will even find the time to read some of your blogs also.

{Christmas Vacation :: Pigeon Forge :: Part 1}

We decided to do a little Christmas vacation to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tennessee. I am just going to start with this was one of the most magical places we have been at Christmas. We stayed at The Christmas Inn and it was decked from top to bottom in beautiful decoration, blazing fire places, Christmas movies in bed every night, cookies from Santa every night, hot cider, hot coco, heated swimming pool, Christmas activities in the afternoon and music and stories in the evening, characters at breakfast, and the most delectable breakfast we have ever eaten. I mean it was a full southern breakfast plus cheese cakes, pies, donuts, fruit, pancakes, waffles, and omelets. We were all in heaven  every morning. I am pretty sure I gained 5 pounds due to all of the good food we ate.

I am pretty sure that the Grinch display was their favorite. I'm sure it didn't help win them over with the movie always playing on it. These boys and cartoons. But Grayson's smile just melts my heart. I am so happy to be their mama even though they make me crazy most days.

Because who would want to pass up getting your photo made with a life size Santa and his reindeer?! Surly not anyone in this family.

Breakfast silliness with oranges.
Ollie was trying the orange peel instead of the orange. Silly baby.

I sure do love my sweet little reindeer. Not to mention I am obsessed with these jimmies.

All three boys loved visiting with Rudolph and giving him high fives. But Ollie Max could not keep his hands off of him. It was too sweet to see him love on Rudolph.

This is only the beginning of the decorations and photos from our Christmas Vacation 2015.

{Grammy and Grandps in Town}

Grandpa was given a new name on this trip - Grandps. Ryker started it and we all love it. We had a very mellow fun trip with Grammy and Grandps in town. We mostly just played and did projects. Little did they know they were going to be coming to Alabama to get a taste of winter {it was almost 30 degrees colder here than back home in Utah}. We always love when family comes to visit. It always makes me VERY sad when they leave. I would love to live closer to family if that were Heavenly Fathers plan for us but so far that has not been so. Maybe some day it will be His will for us to live closer.

 Thanks for coming to visit us. We sure love you and can't wait to see ya'll again. Thank you for all that you do for us and our family and thank you for spoiling us big time while you were here.

{Ollie Max :: 6 months}

Life with three wild little boys pretty much fills my days and they NEVER let me touch a computer and once they are in bed I feel I play "all the kings horsemen" in putting humpty dumpty {my house} back together again and then I crash and burn for a few hours before my night time rounds begin. My babies and their lack of sleeping is killing us all. But this afternoon my house is quite with all three boys in their beds and I for some CRAZY reason am not tired {if this ever happens I ALWAYS take a nap too} so here is to blogging again.

My sweet {or not so sweet} Ollie Max is 6 months old and I have yet to document any of his milestones. tear.

Dear Ollie Max,
You are the worst sleeper in the day and night. I pray daily that you will figure this out soon before I loose my mind with lack of sleep. But when you are not screaming from sleep depredation you are sure happy and have the BEST smiles EVER. You love to sit and play with toys but only if your loving brothers keep their distance and do not over stimulate you. I don't blame you they can be a bit scary. Ryker is your protector from Grayson and no one else can make you laugh and smile like he can. Seeing the two of you play together melts my mommy heart every time. You love to jump like a mad man in the jumper. You have been eating solids since 5 months old and you devour them. Unlike your brothers at this age. You are still  terrible at nursing and I am shocked you are as big as you are for as little as you eat. You have become quite the chatter box and babble all day long. You LOVE your binkkie!! This another first for one of my babies. You still have the cutest wild curly hair that we LOVE!! You love to suck on your socks and toeies. You also like to suck on your pinkie sometimes and it is super cute. You can roll from your tummy to your back and almost from back to tummy. You have just started scooting backwards when on tummy time. Some of your nicknames are Cookie Baby, Ollie Ballie, and Olls a balls.
You have brought countless sleepless nights but endless smiles, laughter, and joy to our family. We love you tiny guy.

Love, Mama
