{Grayson Oliver's Blessing Day}

On Sunday December 16, 2012 my Brady Michael gave our sweet Grayson Oliver a name and blessing for the records of our church. It was a very special day for our family. I am so grateful to have a strong worthy priesthood holder as my husband. We were lucky enough to be able to share this special day with both sets of grandparents and some aunts, uncles, and close friends.
Our sweet Chubs almost didn't fit into his suit. It was a close call.

 We tried VERY hard to get Ryker to smile and he was not having it. He was just being a little cookie monster and would not put his cookies down to smile. He loved being called a cookie monster.

{Christmas in Atlanta 2012}

The Sunday before we left for Utah we hosted a Christmas party with some of our closest Atlanta friends. It was such a blast to have all of us in the same house together enjoying one another company, eating delicious food, playing games, and letting our kids run wild. Ryker is at a really fun age now that he plays well with other kids and loves all of mine and Brady's friends kids. It allows us to actually talk, eat, and play games as adults. Sadly this was the only picture I managed to get of the night. I irony of this is that Lindsey NEVER smiles for a photo and I got one of her with the bebies and no one else. I was shocked that we were able to have close to 30 people in our house for a dinner party. It didn't even feel like there was that many of us there in our tiny apartment. We are sure going to miss all of our AMAZING Atlanta friends I mean family when we move this summer.
 We did part 1 of our 3 part Christmas the night before we headed to Utah. Ryker was DYING to open presents all day. He is WAY into dressing up these days. He loves his new shark and rocket dress ups. I think they are going to be loads of fun.

 Ryker has also discovered how much fun games are. He got Candy Land and Don't Break the Ice. He thinks Don't Break the Ice is a blast and I'm sure he with think the same of Candy Land when we get back to Atlanta to play. He diffidently inherited the love of games for his parents and grandparents.
We love going to Utah to spend the holidays with our families but I think next year when will be fun to have one BIG Christmas in our home instead of 3 Christmases in 3 different places. It will be a new experience for us. We are enjoying every moment of this year in Utah as it will most likely be our last Christmas here.

{A Stone Mountain Christmas}

We were able to make it out to Christmas at Stone Mountain twice before we headed to Utah and still only got to see/do 1/3 of the activities. We got to see this fun show called Toyriffic, The Polar Express 4D {This was Ryker's favorite}, Christmas Carol, ride the train and see all of the lights, and saw snow mountain {Ryker was dying to play in the fake snow and we told him he would get to build a snowman when we came to Utah and he has already built 2}.

 Ryker loved all of the lights. It was such a beautiful Christmas village.

 Waiting and waiting for the parade to start.
 Our first time out Brady was not able to come with us {he had to study for finals} and this was my first adventure with the boys by myself. It was a HUGE step for me. I don't know why since having Gray I have been stressed to take the boys out on my own. But we went, we had fun, and it gave me the confidence I needed to start taking the boys out on my own.
 Our second go Daddy was able to join us. We were all happy about this. This is Ryker waiting for the train and he was just a bit excited. He is really into trains these days.
 Grayson enjoyed his fist train ride.

 Ryker and daddy watching the parade. Ryker has found a new love for riding on daddy's shoulders.
 Ryker was SOOOO excited to see Santa!! We waited for about 1.5 hours in the rain to see this jolly old man and it was so worth it to see my boys with him. This is Ryker's new fake smile. It drives me crazy. Ryker loved chatting with Santa and telling him what he wanted for Christmas - a kitty and a pumpkin. Cute guy.
 Ryker loved walking down this walk way and watching the snow flake lights blink on and off to the music.
 Waiting for them to come back on. I love his little face.
This place made me feel like we were in a Hallmark movie. It was so dreamy. We all LOVED it!

{Matching Brothers}

Nana got the boys these matching shirts in France this summer. Ryker was super excited to match baby Gray. He was just not excited to have his picture taken. This is his "mom he is TOO big, take him off me!!" face. And Gray is thinking "ummm.... I don't know about this mommy"

I cant wait for the boys to get more matching outfits.

{Play Time}

Grayson has discovered how fun his play mat is. He loves to smile and swat at his friends.

 We are loving that Grayson smiles a TON more than Ryker did. My favorite are his good morning wake up smiles. He loves to sit there and smile for a few minuets before he eats his breakfast.
 Ryker loves to play on the play mat with baby Gray also. He wanted us to take pictures of them both in their diapers playing.

I love these boys so much! And I love how much they love each other. I hope this never changes. Ryker is such a good helper with Grayson.

{Thanksgiving 2012}

This year was our first year doing Thanksgiving without blood family. This year we celebrated with part of our Atlanta family the Christensens and Martins and a few of their co residents. It was fun to cook things on my own that I had only helped my mom cook. I was not very good at taking pictures once the party really got started. Gray and Savvy had fun sleeping in their car seats as usual. Seeing these two right next to each other always me chuckle. Oh chubs we love you!

 Roz was a great sou chef. I love her in her tiny apron. She and Ryker loved sitting at their own table eating dinner and watching Mickey Mouse Club House. They both love that show.
 You thought only in the movies did a turkey look like this ... wrong Brandon and Erika did an amazing job on the turkey I mean look at that bird. We ate until we could eat no more and then ate dessert and played games. We love that both couples love to play game and are just as competitive as us. It makes for a fun time for sure.
