{Rabner Christmas 2012}

Ryker loves animals so he really loved playing with Georgia and the kitties at Nana and Papa's house. Although I think he enjoyed playing with/in the kitties toys/beds instead of actually playing with them. It doesn't help that they are kind of skiddish with kids.
 Grayson was a champ hanging out in the Ergo all day while I cooked for his baby blessing.
 Oh and in case you didn't notice I dyed my hair. Yeah kind of a fun change but now that I have had it for 2 months I am pretty much over it and want my blonde back. I still don't feel like me when I look in the mirror. Oh and I think I am ready to grow my hair out a bit. I surprised myself at keeping it short for this long. I guess it is time for change.
 Ryker and Uncle Julio became pretty good pals over break. I mean how could you not love this silly guy?
 Merry Christmas morning!
Papa gave Ryker a Jazz hat to match daddy. He thinks its pretty awesome! Too bad this was the only picture I got of opening presents. Ooops.
Usually Nana cooks this big fancy meal for Christmas eve and Christmas day but this year we were both sick of cooking and decided to do a bunch of different finger foods from Costco instead of spending the day in the kitchen. It was SO nice to not cook all day.
 Our Christmas wish came true with all of the AMAZING snow that we got. Later we went out to build a snowman. Nana was in charge of dressing the snowman and did a fabulous job at it. Chocolate for eyes, a carrot for a nose, red vines for a mouth, pine cones for buttons, and a scarf and hat.
 They boys did a great job at building this snowman.

We love being home for the holidays with family. I love hanging out with Nana and Papa and so do our boys. I got to thinking Grayson is one spoiled little guy he has spent 2/3's of his life with his Nana and Grammy. It has been a lot of fun to have them help us so much with him.

{Freezing with the Wood's}

We braved the cold and went to check out Mater out at one of the farms in Delta. Ryker thought he was super cool even though it was like 6 degrees outside when we saw him. It turned WAY too stinkin cold in Utah our last week there. We like our southern 45 degree winter.

 We were lucky enough to be in town for Savannah Lilly's 6th birthday party. Grayson and Maddie had fun playing together. Well we all enjoyed watching her try to wrestle him.
 Trying to get a picture of Grammy & Grandpa and all of the grand kids was not a success AT ALL. Ryker was being such a turnkey and only wanted to play hungry hippos.

Our cute winter family. I noticed that we did not get very many pictures of the 4 of us together. Such a bummer how that happens. Ryker was SOOOO not wanting to participate in the photos today.

We had so much fun with the Wood family over break. We are so happy that we got to spend as much time as we did together.

{Snowman}

Ryker is obsessed with snowmen. He had been begging to build a snowman and we finally got good snowman making snow.

After the snowman was built it soon turned into a snowball fight. We all love a good snowball fight.

{Gingerbread Houses}

I am 26 and this was my FIRST time building a gingerbread house or should I say gram cracker house. Crazy I know. Well it started out to be a fun activity for Ryker and Savannah and it turned into me and Brady working on Ryker's and Colton working on Savannah's. Ummm... we must be lame -o's because it was really hard and did NOT turn out pretty at all. But Colton on the other hand is a master at making gingerbread houses. I was VERY impressed.

{Christmas in Delta with the Wood's}

Christmas break with the Wood's was nice, fun, and relaxing. Ryker enjoyed having Grandpa reading him bedtime stories. He also LOVED to recline in these chairs. He would say "tip me back".

Maddie and Grayson received LOTS of loves from everyone the whole time.
 Ryker is such a sweet and loving big brother.

 Ryker and Savannah were too cute this trip. They played really well and it was so fun to see them start to develop a cute cousin friendship. It breaks my heart that we don't live closer to cousins so our boys can have amazing relationships with cousins.
I love that they were both playing on their mama's phones. Oh how the world in which we are raising our children is SO different from the world that I was raised in - technology wise.
 I love these two squishy babies. Miss Maddie was always trying to steamroll over Gray. It was too silly.
 Helping Grammy dust and then the dusters turned into horsey's.  I love kids imaginations!
 Uncle Rusty and Victoria were able to come for more than 24 hours - this is a miracle and WE all LOVED it! Ryker really loved playing with Rusty and he came bearing super awesome presents so that gave him another point up on favorite uncle.
 Does that make me a mean mommy that I think this sad picture of Grayson is really cute? He was saying enough with the silly hats mama!!

 I think Ryker's favorite part about Christmas break was that he got to eat just about as much junk food as we did and stay up WAY too late most nights. A 2 year old's heaven.
 Who needs presents when you can play with the big box that they came in?
 It was so fun to have the whole family together for a few days and just hang out, eat yummy food, play a million games, and snack. Snack's/treats in the Wood house are THE BEST!
Ryker and Rusty having fun building Lego Angry Birds together.
I can not believe how big miss Savannah Lilly is. She was such a sweet girl to all of the babies. I loved it. Christmas was super fun. I have mixed emotions on this being our last Christmas in Utah with the families for a while. It is so fun to be with everyone but I am excited to start some of our own traditions just the 4 of us.

{First BIG Snow}

We were in Delta for our first BIG snow of our trip. Ryker was in heaven to say the least. This little guy LOVES snow and really LOVES throwing snowballs at everyone. It was so stinking cold we didn't stay out for very long. This was not the best snow to play in... It was straight powder. We couldn't even pack a snowball, let alone build a snowman like Ryker was begging to do. He was sad about that.

 After FREEZING the first time out we really bundled this guy up. He couldn't really put his arms down - Yes we all laughed about Ralphie's little brother in The Christmas Story. Classic.
 Uncle Colton won Ryker over with the 4 wheeler.  Ryker had the time of his life riding behind it even though it was 20 degrees {to us southern folk that is STINKIN Cold}.

 Brady trying to snow skate.... we all discovered it is MUCH harder than it looks.
I didn't last long outside even with my 3 layers on under my snow clothes. My body can no longer handle real winters.
