Saying good bye to Christmas

We have had our Christmas tree out on our driveway since New Years. We just couldn't let our first Christmas go so soon. Just kidding we aren't that sentimental. Its just we didn't know how to get rid of it and then it snowed again covered the tree. The other night our trash can was empty and it was trash day in the morning Brady decided to see if he could just put the tree in the trash can and it looked pretty funny. But it worked and the tree is gone now. Way to go babe!

Tough girl... so I thought

As most of you know I started boxing a year ago and love it! Earlier this week I decided my left kick needed a lot of work. So I worked it for about 20 minuets straight and it started feeling like a stronger kick. When I woke up the next morning this is what I woke up to. Yes this is my foot covered in bruises. I guess I really did give that left kick a good work out by the looks of my foot. Its kinda funny that I bruise so easily. I guess it could look like Brady beats up on me but we all know he would never do such a thing... its just me beating up on myself.

I love to see the Temple

This past weekend we went to the Draper Temple
open house with my Pappy, Peter, Shellie, and the boys. We had such a wonderful time. The temple was beautiful and the boys were so cute and had a great time too.
After the temple tour we went into the church next door and Grandpa, Brady, and Joey were Shake n' bake n' it.

John was so funny....he wanted me to take a picture of him and then he would look at it and say "no! that's not a happy face take another one" we did this about 5 times and this was the one he says is "a happy face" I would agree he looks very happy. John always know how to be wild and crazy and make me laugh!
Joey and John outside the Draper Temple.

This was really cute John wanted us to write Allie on this card that was for writing your experience down on. Then he wanted me to take a picture of him with the care. If you squint really hard you can see Allie written in the top right corner of the card. John loves his cousins!
Joey and Brady - they are too cute for words!

Dinner Party

Last weekend we had our "Paris Gang" over for dinner and games. We are trying to spend lots of time with them because at the end of this semester we are all leaving Utah and going to grad school in different states. It will be sad to leave everyone. But I suppose that is life and part of growing up. We introduced Jaclyn to Parcheesi and she murdered everyone and it was her first time ever playing... beginners luck I guess. Sam took my place in the "wanting to murder" people place in the game. It was a blast but we were all unhappy about losing so I think we will have to play with them again!

Chicago here we come...

I did it! I bought my plane ticket to Chicago to go and visit Kelsey, Anthony, and the Boo!!! I am so excited that in April we get to go on a fun trip before we move. We miss the Booth family very much and cant wait for April to come. SouthWest is the best airline to fly. You can still check 2 bags for FREE!!! And they have great prices. It will be fun to do a late birthday party for Allie I cant believe she is almost 2 that is nuts how fast they grow up. Kell-a-bell started work today and now I am very sad becasue we will no longer be able to have our daily morning chats... but it is good for her!!

24 Season 7

As many of you know I am obsessed with Jack Bauer and 24. It is my favorite show and I was very sad about it not airing last year because of the writers strike. But it is back on and in full swing with more action than ever! The last 2 nights we were treated to 4 hours of Jack. This is his crew so far in the season. I have a feeling that Audrey Reins will be joining this organization of former CTU agents. If you call us on Monday nights between 8-9pm do not expect us to answer our phones or do anything. But all other night we should be available! If you have never watched this show I highly recommend you start. Go to Hollywood and start with season 1 or you can barrow them from us (we have all 6 seasons) you will fall in love with them and wonder how you got glued watching until the wee hours of the morning. And for the record I knew Tony could not be a bad guy!

Elder Stanworth

This weekend we went down to Delta for Elder Weston Stanworth's farewell talk. He leaves on Wednesday for Germany to serve as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Weston will be a great missionary and we will miss him. See you in 2 years Weston we love you!!
On our drive home the moon was coming out through the clouds and from behind the mountains and it was so cool looking. These are my attempts of taking a picture of it while flying down the freeway at 80MPH. Not the best pictures but it will still be a full moon tonight so make sure to check it out tonight.
Brady and I have been listening to Harry Potter - The half blood prince on our many road trips this month. This is Brady's first time through this book and it has been pretty intense and a good thing to make the drive go by faster and is rather entertaining. Thanks for the book on CD idea Shellie.

Adventures at Spring Preserve

The 3 red headed cousins. Joey and John were so sweet with the Lime guy. The moment he walked into their house it was "hey Liam come play with me". The boys had to show him all of their fun toys. Liam had so much fun at Pete and Shell's he didnt want to stop and eat.
At the Spring Preserve we got to learn alot about recylcing and being green. Ben and Brady had fun digging a hole...it must have been hard work by the looks on their faces. We had fun at play center climbing on the rock, bones and turtles. We even got to take a ride on the train. All three of the boys love trains so that was fun.
The happy parents of miss Bella the princess who runs the house down in Vegas and the reason for our Vegas Vacation.
Yes that is correct Juilo and I had to climb up and get pictures with the birds. I'm pretty sure we were not supposed to climb on this section... it was rather tricky getting up there but well worth it. As most of you know I have a fedish with climbing on things... Brady says I was being a bad example for Joey and John for climbing on them... they were trying to follow us up so we had to wait and do it after they had left. I guess I will be the one teaching my kids some day how to break the rules.
Princess Arabella!

New Years in Vegas

Picture 1 - Excited Lindsay (as usual) Not so excited Brady. This was at the Bellagio gardens at about 1:30 AM (2:30AM Utah time) on New Years. I really wanted to go to the strip and Brady said OK even though he was dead tired form the drive down (I was wired from my 3 hour nap from the drive). We headed out to what I thought would be a fun night in the city. We parked at the Stratosphere and started walking up the pedestrians only strip. All we did was walk about 3 miles in heels and get pushed through mobs of people. Not what I expected at all but at least I know now that I am not missing out on much. I have finally come to the realisation that New Years Eve is really only fun for those who go out and get smashed. There was a few good things that came from our night out on the town. 1. I got my first new years kiss at midnight 2. It was from my sweet amazing husband 3. Brady and I had our first New Years together. It didn't even bug me that my "great" plan was a bust because I was with Brady and that's all that matters. I think next year we will spend New Years playing games and eating yummy food with friends and family!
On our walk back to car (over an hour later) we happened to pass some wedding chapels that Brady was wishing we had tied the knot in. We thought they looked pretty nice and hey one of them would even Web cast your wedding. It doesn't get much better than that does it?!

Arabella's blessing day

Yesterday was miss Arabella's blessing day. This little princess was the main reason for our trip down to Las Vegas. We has so much fun getting to know her and loving on her! Pete is such a great dad to his 3 little monkey's Bells is already a daddys girl. She always falls asleep for Pete when no one else can calm her down. We can thank Nana for the beautiful blessing dress. We love you Bell's!!
