{Ollie Max meets Pyper}
Ollie Max was too sweet saying good bye to Pyper. I think these two are going to be best buddies.
{Pyper's First Dance Party :: 3 Days Old}
Auntie Kels introduced us to newborn baby dance parties to try and get them to wake up.
We are sure going to miss you Auntie Kels. So glad we got to have you for a few days.
{Pyper Adeline coming home :: First Time}
Baby girl is almost 2 days old and we FINALLY are coming home!! We are all VERY excited about this. And I am very excited about Pyper wearing her first of many bonnets. I just love them a LOT and I think she looks so sweet in this gown and bonnet. We are already having too much fun dressing her up.
Little miss P already has her daddy wrapped around her finger. He is so in love with his baby girl.
Proud parents.
Also we were super excited that we were taking home a baby in the 7 pounds. That is a FIRST for our family. Not that she will stay this tiny for long but enjoying it for a second.
Ryker was begging to hold her right when we got home.
Auntie Kles said that whenever she was holding Pyper baby Lucy would start kicking her like crazy. We think Lucy was sad to not be with Pyper in heaven anymore. Im sure that in a few years these little cousins will be best buddies. I love that Kels and I have shared 3 of our pregnancies. Such fun memories.
{Day 2 in the hospital :: Pyper Adeline}
First family photo.
Wood party of 6.
Ollie melted my heart he didn't want to get off of my lap. He was so sweet and excited to be holding Pyper. He was just smiling and softly touching her. So much love in this room.
This is what Pyper thought about not being swaddled up.
She was much happier with daddy once we got her swaddled. This was the first night Brady has EVER spent at the hospital with me after having a baby. Not really sure how he lucked out until now. It was pretty crazy I was the only patient this night on the whole maternity floor. Those nurses just got to snuggle Pyper all night except for when I was feeding her. Im sure that was a win for everyone. They got sweet newborn snuggles and I got a little bit of sleep.
{Pyper Meets Brothers :: First Time}
Auntie Kels brought the boys up to the hospital that night to meet little miss Pyper. Ryker was SUPER excited to meet her and Ollie was not so sure of her and Gray Gray had fallen asleep on the drive up and didn't wake up until a few mins before they left.
Just a few hours fresh from heaven.
I have waited my whole life to have a little girl of my own. When I was little my mom said I would tell people I was only going to have little girls and then the Lord had different plans for our family and blessed us with a house full of boys and now we have our sister. We are all so happy to have her in our family.
Ryder's first time holding Pyper. He is such a sweet BIG brother and I know he will be her protector FOREVER!
First partial family photo... Grayson was asleep in the stroller still.
Ryker did such a great job holding Pyper.
I can't believe that he let Auntie Kels transfer him to the stroller and that he actually stayed asleep. That NEVER happens.
We were so blessed to have Auntie Kels come and help us. She was awesome at taking care of the boys, our home, and baking me anything and everything that sounded tasty. She even brought me pumpkin cinnamon rolls {that I had been craving} and homemade chicken noodle soup and rolls to the hospital. Which was a BIG deal because the hospital food was terrible.

{Hello World :: Pyper Adeline}
Auntie Kels flew in Thursday morning to come and stay with the boys so I could go have this sweet baby. After we put the boys to bed before heading off to the hospital to be induced we had some good sister time. This photo cracks me up because it looks like I'm about to push Pyper out... but really it was just me laughing.
All checked in at the hospital and read to get this baby party started.
Hello world
Pyper Adeline Wood
Born November 11, 2016 at 12:07pm in Guntersville Alabama.
Weighing in at 8 pounds 3 ounces
and 20 3/4 inches long
This was my easiest delivery by far. We checked into the hospital Thursday night and the poor nurses could not get my IV in for the life of them. It took them 5 tries before finally getting and then we just chilled and Brady got to watch the Utah football game. At 1am they started me on some medicine and put me on pitocin at 5am. They asked me if I wanted my epidural before they even broke my water and since I was going to get one why not get it before I am even in pain. After I got my epidural my doctor came and broke my water around 630am and got this party really started. I was super tired and slept off and on and Brady and I played cards {as usual and because we don't get to play nearly as often as I wish}. I was starting to feel lots of pressure and had Brady get the nurses and I had progressed to an 8 and then about 30 mins later I was ready to start pushing. I had never really understood what people meant when they said their doctors came in to just catch the baby during delivery until this delivery. I really like my doctor but it was super strange to me that he came in while I was pushing and said "you are not ready for me yet" and walked out.... ummm I guess he went and hung out in the hallway and visited with the other nurses because I was the only one delivering a baby that morning... Also another first. This hospital was SOOO tiny but the perk to that was I was totally spoiled by my nurses. A few minuets later he comes back into my room and was there for the last 2 pushes. This delivery was really funny because my feet were so swollen and when I got my feet up to push my toes looked like HUGE sausages and that made me start to laugh and then Brady and I were joking which was better to have witch toes {that is what we call brady's long, skinny, boney toes} or sausage toes. Needless to say I was trying to push while dying of laughter about silly toes and falling off the table. I think I only had about 6 good pushes and she was out. So not too bad at all. She was born at 12:07pm.
In the morning when my doctor came in to break my water he asked Brady if he wanted to deliver Pyper and Brady was VERY unsure about this... we talked about it all morning. I didn't care one way or the other and Brady could not make up his mind. But when he came in to catch her he TOLD Brady to grab a mask and some gloves and get down here. So he did. Brady said "she was SUPER slippery" He thought he was going to drop her... kind of like holding a jumpy fish... but my doctor said "its not like I am going to let you drop her".
Thankfully one of the nurses grabbed my camera and documented for us since Brady was playing doctor.
Pyper was our first baby who came out screaming like they are supposed to. I have always done skin to skin with my babies even though it totally grosses me out with them being all slimy. This was actually funny because when we were trying to do skin to skin I had forgotten to take off my bra before delivery which they have you do incase they have to rush you to c-section and because of my epidural and iv we could not get my bra off easily and it got all tangled around my neck.
Our first baby born at 39 weeks and our smallest.
Finally all fresh and clean.
She was not too happy that she had to hang out under the heater for an hour or 2 to get her temp up because she was all purple and freezing after entering this world.
Right after she was born and I was trying to get her to nurse I was STARVING I had not eaten since 6pm the night before that while I was nursing her Brady was the BEST hubby EVER and spoon fed me some lunch. The hospital food was the worst I have had but I was so hungry I didn't even care. I was so hungry I couldn't decide if I needed to eat more or sleep.
We are so in love with our sweet little Pyper Adeline.

{Happy Halloween :: Trick or Treating 2016}
A little pre trick or treating photo shoot of my little vampires.
We love that Garett and Avery have their birthday party on Halloween so we get to party and go trick or treating with about 20 of our friends. It is such a fun tradition and it is so fun to see this HUGE group of kids running from house to house together.
This little cookie baby HAD to carry his own bucket even though it was getting full and heavy and he would whack every bush he walked past with it. He did such a great job saying "trick or treat and thank you" .
We were all joking about how funny it would be if I ended up going into labor while trick or treating and having to show up at the hospital looking like this. In my small town we were all pretty sure if that would have happened I would have for sure made the front page of the news paper. I am sure glad that is not what happened that would have been a little too freaky for even me even thought it would have been a great story to tell.
Loading up all of the littles to head out.
Brady did a fabulous job on his make up.
This T Rex was running around the yard and Gray Gray and Ollie thought he was so funny.
And thats a wrap Halloween 2016.
Now lets get our baby Pyper here already!
