{Happy Birthday Ryker Baby}

Yesterday my baby turned one. Crazy. We spent the day driving home from Disneyland and dealing with a car full of puking people. It was a memorable day for all of  us. :)

Ryker has been such a blessing to our lives. He can always make me smile and loves on you just when you need it the most. He is for sure a BIG boy but he sure is a sweetheart. He is very gentle with his fingers and hands. Ryker still loves to wear his curious eyes {he was born wearing them}and he is really good at giving shy smiles. He has the funniest laugh ever. You cant really tell if he is laughing or crying. He LOVES dogs. All shapes and sizes. He loves to play with balls, trucks, and cars. Yesterday he learned the word "car". He is learning new words all the time. I still think he will speaking sentences before he is walking. I am a bit concerned that he still can not sit up on his own. We will see what the doctor says at his 1 year check up. Ryker has turned into a solid food eating champ since we have been in Utah. Now lets hope/pray that makes the weaning him when we get back to Georgia easier.
Ryker is 100% boy and I love it!
It has been fun watching his personality grow and develop over the past year. He is very interested in people and I think he will be quite the social butterfly.

Becoming a mom has been the best thing that has happened to me. I love it and it is just what I have always dreamed of. Motherhood is a LOT of work but it is SO rewarding. I pray that Brady and I can do a good job at raising this "tiny" guy to have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ to get him through this life.

Happy Birthday Ryker Gabriel Wood!!
We love you!!
