Since I was a winner on Kelsey 's blog I guess I now get the opportunity to blog about this game also. You know you want me to make you a special something and you know it will be really good so play along and post a commit and it could be yours!!

The Rules
1. Be one of the first 3 people to leave a comment on this post. This will entitle you to a handmade item from me.
2. If you win, you must post this on your blog, which means that you commit to pay it forward, creating a handmade gift for the first 3 people who leave a comment on your post about this giveaway.
3. The gift that you send to your three friends can be from any price range, and you have 365 days to make and ship your item. I'm super excited to see who plays along.

Mardi Gras Party and Happy Birthday Mugs-e-Moo

Mardi Gras was on Tuesday and Brady and I decided to host a masquerade at our house and we had a great turn out. Lots of yummy food, crazy fun friends, and games. A Tuesday doesn't get much better than that. We were happy to see just about everyone came with masks also! Thanks friends for being such good sports!
Brady was not too thrilled about having to wear a mask and this was the most masculine one we could find and it still did not meet his satisfaction. But he was a good husband and still wore it :) thanks Brady!!
I loved my mask... I think I kinda look like catwoman with purple side burns. I did make a really yummy King Cake with Megan for the party and I forgot to take a picture. It was supper tasty and looked lots better than the one I made for Mugs birthday party on Sunday. There is an art to making them and Megs and I finally figured it out.
Liam was all about strutting his stuff with the Mardi Gras beads and at Megs birthday party on Sunday. Is he not just the cutest little guy or what?
Last week was Megan's 27th birthday!
We went bowling for her birthday and let me just tell you the three of us are pretty amazing bowlers.... Liam was leading for most of the game.... like I said really good at the game!
Sorry our mom didn't teach us all her mad bowling skills she learned in her college bowling class. Now that is a true story and she really is an amazing bowler. But she always wanted to beat us girls I guess and didn't pass her talent on to us.
Mugs-e-moo is my oldest sister and one of my best friends (Kell-a-bell is my other bff). She is so much fun to hang out with and I love just being silly with her. It has been really fun not working the last few weeks and spending lots of time with Megan and Liam. She is always full of good advice and a listening ear. Thanks for being such a great sister. We love you Mugs!

Good times with the Family

Sorry it has been so long since I have done a post... this one will be a long one. Last weekend we went to Delta for Valentine's Day and to see Jamie, Dave, and Savannah. Savannah has some really cool foam blocks at Grandma and Grandpa's house that I think I had more fun with then she did.
Check out my sweet house I built... don't worry I had to build it while Savannah was in the tub and then as soon as she got out she came and kicked it over. That is her favorite thing to do with the blocks. Destruction!

Max and Merilee threw a Valentines Day dinner party for all of us. As you can see Brady and I were enjoyed appetising on the shrimp - Yummy!

Megan, Liam and I went to mom's school last week for her anti Valentine's Day chocolate party. It was a great success! As you can tell I am not very good at taking pictures of us... sorry mom.
Ok this is better a full shot of my beautiful mom! Love you!!! And Mum and Pappy thanks so much for the beautiful flowers, jammies, and movie.
Liam thought he was such a stud hanging out in the computer lab like all the big kids. We get 'em started at a young age on working the computer in our family!
Kell-a-bell this is the video you have been waiting for. When you watch this video of the little Lime guy be prepared to laugh your face off at his animal noises. Sorry it has taken me so long to post this my computer has been having issues uploading videos.

Roller blades and surprise visits

This week has been beautiful weather and good forchen for me. My car was backed into in December and I finally took it to the body shop to get fixed this week and have been without a car all week. Most would think that a bad thing but I have found it fun... I have been roller blading to work everyday and I love it! The weather has been wonderful and given me a great opportunity to be outside. I hate that as I have gotten older and had to join society and work 8-5pm I find it hard to get outside and enjoy nice weather. I cant wait until the trails are all clear so I can start blading down them! Thanks Janine for getting me into this sport again.
Last night I was home alone (Brady was at the library working on PT applications) and not sure how I should spend my evening without a car to go to boxing. I had made dinner already and also prepared dinner for tonight in the crock pot when a little knock at my door came. Megan and Liam gave me a surprise visit that was well needed. I miss just hanging out with my sisters. We had fun watching American Idol (laughing at the drama and bad singers) and made cookies. Liam was so funny he drug out all of the rock band equipment and had a microphone in one hand and a drum stick in the other and was jamming out like crazy. He is such a funny little guy. I am going to miss living so close to him. Thanks for entertaining me last night Mugs!

Boots!

This weekend Brady and I went on a date with Megan and Weston to see Room Service at the Hale Center Theater. It was a comedy and was humorous. We laughed very hard and had a great time. Thanks for the date night Mugs.
When we got back after the play Liam was still up and ready to play with us. Megan and I had both taken off our boots and Liam grabbed them and brought them over to me and said "boots" and sat down for me to put them on his little feet. It was really funny to see him try to walk in the cowboy boots. Then after we took them off he got Mugs knee high boots and demanded that we put them on him.
They looked so funny and went all the way up to his bum. We didn't dare let him walk in them for fear of him breaking the heal. Lime guy is always good to keep around for a laugh. Megan and Weston might need to start worrying about there little cross dresser.... just kidding.
I know I do lots of post on our nieces and nephews but how can I not - they are just so cute and entertaining. Also since Mugs wont blog I can keep you updated on the little Lime guy.
