{Zoo Trip}

Ryker and I love to go to the zoo just about every week. Now that he is walking he is loads more fun on our adventures.

 This is my favorite new face that Tiny makes.
The sound that goes with it is priceless. OOOWWWOW!
 It makes me smile that some of me is starting to come out in Ryker. He has now started climbing on EVERYTHING and that was totally me as a child. Who am I kidding that is still me {Paris - Castles}.
 Ryker I loved how fascinated you were by the statues. You are such a little monkey and I love it!
 Now that you are walking I can actually take pictures of you with the goats in the petting zoo. This is your favorite part of the zoo.
This was after your little fall. About 3 minuets later you fell in a HUGE puddle and got covered in mud/poop. It was sick. Good thing this was our last stop at the zoo because you left in a diaper and I was covered in yuckie stuff. It was all a good laugh though. The important part is we both had fun! I love our trips to the zoo and how you oooo and awww at all of the animals.

{CUTE FAMILY}

On Sunday we headed out to Stone Mountain with our friends the Hoyt's to play with their camera and try and get some fall family pictures for Christmas cards. We had a few turn out super cute. It was kinda a bummer that most of them were out of focus. We will try this again another day. It was fun to get outside and walk around and enjoy the beautiful fall weather with friends and family. I cant believe it is Thanksgiving in a week. CRAZY/EXCITING!!!!

{Sweet Nana}

I was going through our pictures from December and found these jems.
Ryker and Nana love to play patty cake together. Its kind of their thing. They play every time on Skype.
All of the grand kids love it when Nana sings her German lullaby. I am so happy I recorded this. I am trying to be better about making more small videos. I think they will be loads of fun to watch as our kids grow up.

We love you Nana! Thanks for being so amazing. Cant wait to see you in a few weeks!

{Happy Halloween}

I know you all thought I had made enough fall/Halloween post but here is my last one for the year. We take full advantage of the month of October and all of the joy and festivities it brings with it.
 We had a blast trick or treating Monday night with the Partrige family. Ryker loved taking the candy and dropping it in his bucket. We took the camera with us but for what ever reason I forgot to take some pictures of all the action. Oops. Next year.
 This year we went a family theme - I was bummed at first but I got over it. I love Brady's 20's mobster costume. Ryker loved playing with daddy's tommy gun. I was so happy that the kids all lasted for several hours. Trick or treating with your own child is loads of fun. I love being a parent.
 Ryker was so silly with his bucket. He kept trying to make it balance on his head. Silly guy.
 So we didn't make it out to a real pumpkin patch {next year I can't wait to make the jont out to Burt's Farm- We hear great things and have seen AMAZING photos of it.}
 I still wanted to get some pictures of Ryker with pumpkins this year since last year we didn't manage to make it happen. Too bad he was not being a smiling kind of guy.
 The most important part is he had a blast {I know the pictures don't show it}. We were here for about an hour and Ryker just kept saying "ball" when he pointed at every pumpkin.
 He was getting pretty good at stacking the little pumpkins on the big ones.
When we got home we had a special package waiting for us in the mail box from Grandma and Grandpa. I have been waiting for this adorable hat that Grandma made for Ryker. I LOVE it! Thanks for taking the time and making it for us!!!
Thank you fall for being so great to us here at the Wood house. Please stick around for a few more weeks so we can enjoy our morning runs, afternoons at the park, and trips to the zoo.

And a super happy note,  Ryker has been walking more than scooting or crawling this week. I think he is getting really close to being a walking kid rather than a kid who can walk. I can't wait for this transition.

{Witches Lunch}

Friday I hosted my second annual Witches Lunch. Lindsey, Steph, and I had so much fun decorating for it Thursday. I am so grateful to have these two amazing friends who live here in Post with me. We have so much fun together and they are always willing to help me.

 The decor. I love love love how these mice turned out. And so did Ryker. He thought it was super fun to pull them off the wall.
 I tell ya what the combination of my cricut + contact paper ='s super fun decorations. The kids loved them and so did I!

 Ryker was a total champ last week. I was so busy getting everything ready for the party that we didn't get to play much. Good thing we played ALL day Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to make up for.
 It was fun to see all of the different types of witches that showed up.
All of the witches casting votes.
Thinking - YES I can take on this pumpkin* I'm so strong I can do it 1 handed*RAH! Told you I could do it!

The kids loved playing the pumpkin roll game. Even Tiny Tiger Ryker figured out how to play.

The party was a HUGE success. I am so grateful it turned out so fun and we had so many friends come. Here's to another fabulous Halloween.

{Our days}

Ryker loves to see Daddy in the morning. When ever Brady walks in the room he perks up and says "daddy!!!" with LOTS of enthusiasm. This is new for him and his daddy LOVES it! Anytime someone walks in the front door Ryker thinks its daddy. It is really nice to see Ryker loving on Brady more these days.
 This is our daredevil's new favorite place to sit. It scares me because he has fallen off a few times already
BUT....
When you try to get him off of it this is what happens. He loves to sit on the arm and watch football with daddy. Its their "man" time - that is what Brady calls it.
 Loving on grilled pizza.
Once you try it you will never go back to oven pizza. That's a promise!
 Ryker loves to look out the window and say "that's a car" while pointing at all of the cars. Our neighbors have a dog and when if we ever hear him bark Ryker perks up and says "that's a dog". He is so smart.
 Ryker getting his first real hair cut.
Lollipop - Check.
Show - Check.
{Yes my 15 month old knows what shows are and cries for them- judge me if you want.}
He did very well. He was just a big curious as to what I was doing. I didn't cut too much off just trimmed up the back. It was a lot longer than every where else and too long for it to really curl. I forgot to take a after picture but it looks SO much better now. I love that he got my curls - even though I miss them on me.
