{dance party}

Abby and Ryker crack me up. Their favorite toy as of late is this truck that sings. They drag it around the house and dance to it.

Thanks for always making my day brighter with your sweet personalities. We are enjoying the simple moments of life together.

Brady's first rotation is going well. He is doing acute care at Atlanta Medical Center. Its a level one trauma center so he gets to see lots of neat things. Like a woman getting a bolt put in her brain, a homeless guy not knowing his name who they thought was a cross dresser, and working with a woman stabbed 12 times by her husband. He has also gotten to see lots of yucky thing like really deep wounds that are infected {his CA specializes in wound care}, seeing maggots clean a bad infection, i'm sure more to come. He is loving being out of the classroom and in the hospital. Although this is not his ideal career location. He wants to be in a orthopedic clinic. We all LOVE his schedule 7am-3:30pm means we get LOADS of daddy time!!!

{18 months}

Ryker Gabriel
You are now 18 months old. It has been a whirlwind of a ride but I would not trade any of it. You are more fun than ever now. We LOVE it! You love to talk. You know all of your animal sounds and names, Mommy, Daddy, Whoieo {Julio}, Ben, Nanny, Papa, Grammy, Grandpa, Carlee, Nanny {Savannah}, Colt {Colton}, Ly {Lyra}, Ali, and Abby. You love walking around saying their names wanting to call or skype them. You also know who they are when you see a picture of them. Other words you are saying: Jesus, cheese, ball, cracker, snack {fruit snack}, juice, milk, water, bye bye, tickle tickle {and you tickle me while saying it}, book, car, truck, train, help me, hold me, ummm please, thank you, sorry, whooo {a book little hoot}, phone, losh {lotion}, cheese {for the camera}, yo {yogurt}, hot {dog}, chicken, broc {broccoli}, pizza, cook {ie}, bite, more, nose, teeth, ear, eyes, hair, face, head, piggies {toes}, hand, shirt, hat, less {necklace}, potty, poop, ouch, ut-oh, no, yes {and you know the difference between the two}, show, watch, shoe, boot, bath, B {blanket},  wash {wash hands}, pretty, tree, light, stair{s}, ho ho {Santa}, no{snow}, mote{remote}, medicine, shot, brush {toothbrush}, bubbles, run, swing, slide, baby, tie, up, push, hot, orange, boberr {blueberry- your favorite}, pear, aaaaa this, shark, ba{banana}, egg, cereal, crais{craisins}, bowl, fork, spoon, sock, paper, bib, garbage {you love throwing trash away & lets pray it stays with only trash}, glass{glasses}, hi!, hey!, yeah, my hair {you are always very concerned about your hair}, a{I} help, a go, stool, and chair. So needless to say you have a LARGE vocabulary already.

 This is you on your first day of nursery. You are one tiny stud. You loved blowing bubbles in nursery. You are still a little unsure about the people in there. You like to sit back and observe everyone and wait to decide if you really like them. Its pretty cute. I think you will LOVE nursery.
 Your favorite time of day is when daddy comes home. You love playing horsey with him, having dance parties {you have some rocking moves}, playing ball, trains, and just hanging out with him. It brings such joy to me to see you to play together. You are a match made in heaven.
 And you give the BEST hugs ever!!
 I love that you are so sweet and how tender hearted you are and hope you always keep these qualities.

Stats:
29 lbs
34.25" tall
You are one big dude! You are tall enough to go on most rides at Disneyland {32" to ride most} now - CRAZY!!

Horsey's are you favorite right now. You love going to the zoo and aquarium with me. We go once a week. You love playing with Abby and Emery all the time. You are starting to color. You enjoy climbing up on EVERYTHING! You love playing at the park and swinging and sometimes going down the slides. You mostly just love being outside and running around. When we come home most days you get upset when it is time to walk inside the apartment. I cant wait until we have a yard and you can be outside all of the time. You also LOVE to dance. You have some sweet moves I will try to get them on video. I look forward to many more fun filled days with you!

{I'll be home for Christmas 2.0}

We had a blast down in Delta with the whole family for Christmas. It was so nice having the entire family all together for a week. We enjoyed playing hours and hours of games, eating endless snacks, and everything you can imagine dipped in caramel.
 Ryker was super great at helping the "elves" wrap presents. He fell in love with tape.
 Ryker had a blast playing games with "nanny" {Savannah} and Grandpa.
 Ryker you have a crazy obsession with my toothbrush and hats. Good thing you can rock both of them! Cute guy.
 Merry Christmas Braids!
I am trying to be better about taking pictures of the two of us. Here is to a new year!
 You and Savannah had a blast "playing" the wii together.
 Merry Christmas 2011
We started bright and early at 6am! I was so excited that I woke up at 5am all on my own and could not go back to sleep. Ryker you had a blast opening presents. It was funny that you didn't like us to take the presents out of their boxes. You are one spoiled and VERY loved tinny guy.

 Matching jammies from the elves.

You loved playing with daddy and his new toy. I love how all boy you are.
 Cheesing with Uncle Rusty.
Braids you are one HOT redneck that I LOVE with all of my heart!!!

We love the Christmas season and love being able to spend it with both of our families.

{I'll be home for Christmas - 1.0}

Ryker and I were lucky enough to come out to Utah a few days before daddy came out to see all of our friends and get a little extra Nana and Papa time.

Ryker you were loving on Nana and she was nice enough to share ALL of the turkey off of her sandwich.
We had a super fun play date with Hayden and Brittney at Jump On It. You were unsure about the bouncy toys at first but by the end you were LOVING it.

Zoo lights were so fun. We froze out bum's off but it was totally worth it.
Just monkeying around.
We make some pretty fine apes if I say so myself.

 We were all very impressed that Brady actually got into this turtle shell. It took some hard work.

 Ryker you and Georgia became best friends. She loved you feeding her 3 extra meals a day + snacks, giving you puppy kisses, and playing chase. You loved covering her in stickers, petting her, sitting on her, hugging her, and playing in her water bowl. Georgia is one patient and loving dog who puts up with A LOT from the grand kids.
 I love that you learned all of your animal sounds over Christmas break from looking at the nativity. I also love how much you love playing with baby Jesus and can say his name. It warms my heart.
You and uncle Ben had lots of fun playing over the break.
 Uncle "Whoio" {Julio}  - Ryker you love to say his name and its super cute.
 You are WAY into accessories these days - hats,necklaces, bags, anything you can put on.
Merry Christmas Nana and Papa or as you like to call them "Nanny and Pa". I love how hard you are trying to learn everyone's names Ryker. You are growing up too fast.

It would not be a true Rabner family vacation if we didn't go on some adventures. The farm at Thanksgiving point is always a winner. Ryker you had so much fun because you are WAY into animals and their sounds.
This little goat even thought your finger was quite tasty. You on the other hand were not very fond of his nibbling.

 Your first ride on a horsey. You were in heaven and NOT very happy when it was time to get off.

We had such a fun time with the Rabner bunch. It was weird not having the sisters home for Christmas but maybe next year.

{Christmas in Atlanta}

Our Christmas in Atlanta this year was filled with 70 degree weather, hot coco, Santa, winter wonderland, lots of running, playing with baby Jesus {Ryker LOVES his little people manger}, Christmas light ooooo'ing and awwwww'ing {Ryker is really into Christmas decor}, ward party, Skyping, and present opening.
 Ryker and I went to Bass Pro Shop's winter wonderland to meet Santa {they even gave us a FREE picture but I forgot to scan it before we left for Ut}. Ryker it was so fun to see how excited you were about all of the Christmas deco. It defiantly got me in the Christmas mood. You didn't even hate on Santa. You were just kind of unsure about him.
 You got to ride your first 4-wheeler and you thought you were pretty cool and all grown up.
 The three of us had a great time seeing the lights at the Botanical Gardens. Ryker, your favorite part was watching the Choo Choo drive around and around. Daddy's favorite part was the really cool snowflake lights hanging in the trees. My favorite part was being with my boys enjoying the lights. I love Christmas lights!

 Ryker at our ward Christmas party you found the microphone and decided to sing us all a little tone while waiting to sit on Santa's lap. It was pretty cute.
 We had so much fun opening presents with Nana and Papa via skype. Love Love Love skype! This play table is going to bring hours and hours of fun play!
 It was fun to hook the computer up to the TV. It felt like Nana and Papa were really there with us.
 Daddy snuggles are the BEST!
Ryker you got us these sweet Emory sweats. Thank you we love them!

 I just love those curls. I hope you keep them FOREVER!
We had so much fun playing with all of your new toys before we headed out to Utah.
I am so excited for Christmas part 2{Delta} and part 3 {Springville}.

Merry Christmas friends.
We hope you all eat many tasty things, talk about our Savior Jesus Christ, play games, have good laughs, spend quality time with your family, give to others, and enjoy this wonderful time of year.
