{Big news #1 and Big news #2}

Big News #1
I ran my first 1/2 marathon and beat my goal time by one minuet. I ran it in 1 hour 59 min. My average mile pace was 9:06. I am so proud of myself for actually running 13.1 miles and not stopping at all. It was long and hard but oh so GOOD!! I am so grateful for my super awesome running pal Stephanie. If it weren't for her I NEVER would have though it possible for me to run a race that long {nor did I have the desire}. But now that it is all said and done I think I would do it again {but a marathon is FOR SURE NOT in my cards - running for 4+ hours sounds BORING!}
 The last mile was the LONGEST mile of my life but finally I saw the finish line.
 I am so grateful for Brady and Ryker and all of their support. Brady was a champ for watching Ryker on Saturday mornings so we could go do our long runs baby/stroller free. It is a super good thing I discovered {thank you Robin} a totally flat {near impossible in Atlanta}running route for us to do our long runs. I never would have been able to do all of the training that was needed if I had to run hills. It makes such a difference.
 I did it!!!!

It was SO cold when we started but the temp ended up being perfect for a long run.
 Ryker LOVES his football and has to take it EVERYWHERE he goes these days. It's pretty cute.
 Giving the mommy a sweet kiss.
 Big News #2
My eggo is preggo!!!!
We will be adding a new addition to our little family October 1.
 It was super hard training while being pregnant but I did it! I am so happy that I was even able to keep with Stephanie for the first 9 miles and we were running fast like 8:45 min miles. But after that she was feeling like a rock star and went off on her own and I had to slow it down a bit so I could make it to the finish line. I am now 12 weeks and feeling a LOT better than I had been. I hope that I am able to keep my running and yoga through my pregnancy.

 Ryker and Brady were playing a game where Brady would get really close to Ryker with the camera and he thought it was so funny. He got some GREAT smiles playing this game. LOVE them!
Ryker thought he was so big getting to ride on the cart at the hotel. It was a fun game. We really liked Greenville, SC {that is where the race was}. It was a nice fun town and had lots to do and see and it was only 2 hours from Atlanta. Stephanie and I are going to try and run this race again next year. I think it would be so fun to do it again. It was such a good experience. I wish we could have done more on Saturday after the race but I was so tired I almost fell asleep at the table at lunch. We decided to head home so I could sleep, ice, massage, and repeat.

WOW. You can't just have cool news like "Hey, I ran a half marathon" or "Hey, I'm pregnant" you have to have super crazy news like, "I'm pregnant AND ran a half marathon." WHAT? Okay, that's intense. And, I can't even see a belly there. And, isn't your back killing you??
