{Easter Egg Hunt at the Gardens}

Saturday was a BUSY BUSY fun family day. We started out with yummy birthday breakfast for Brady {he leaves too early for work to have done it on his actual birthday}, then off to a soccer game, and then straight to the botanical gardens for the egg hunts.

He was VERY excited to get going on the egg hunt but then not too much once it actually started...

Grayson was not really sure about the picking up eggs thing but Ryker on the other hand did awesome and found a TON! Grayson was just interested in eating all of the candy that Ryker found and Ryker did a great job at sharing his candy with all of us.

 These boys all think we need a hammock in the backyard... someday.

The flowers were all so beautiful and we were happy to have daddy with us to enjoy some of the beauty our Savior gave to us. Happy Day!

{Happy Easter :: Because of Him}

I am thankful for my Savior Jesus and his sacrifice for me. I am thankful because of him that we have beautiful flowers and green grass and my smiling crazy monkeys and because of him we get to be together forever!
I Love my sweet family and can not get over how cute these boys are.

{Must Try :: Chipotle Chicken Skewers}

You MUST try this chicken.
My kids are CRAZY picky {I mean so picky that they go to bed without dinner most nights because they won't eat anything}. I made this chipotle-chicken-skewers for dinner on Brady's birthday and when I read on her blog how much her kids LOVED this I decided to double the normal amount of chicken I would use for my family and it is a good thing I did. Grayson ate 1 1/2 - 2 skewers of chicken and Ryker 2 - 2 1/2 plus baked potatoes and fruit. My boys kept begging for more. This is a first at our dinner table.
I hope ya'll enjoy it as much as we did!

Happy Cooking!

{Happy Birthday Brady :: BIG 30}

Happy Birthday Brady Michael!!
We sure love you and are so lucky to have you as our daddy, husband, and best friend. You are always thinking about us and looking out for our needs and work so hard to take care of and provide for our family.
 This birthday boy requested brownie cake - yummy!
Ryker did awesome at helping me frost and do the filling. It has been fun letting him help more the bigger he gets. I think it turned out pretty cute and tasted even better!

I think Grayson REALLY liked his cake. It ate it all and then frosted himself :) Silly guy!
It was a super fun night as a family.

30 is OLD but we still love you!!

{Shopping with Mama}

As of late when we go shopping Ryker's favorite thing to do is go and sit on all of the furniture and have me take his photo. Silly guy but if that is all that it takes to keep him happy and well behaved while I get my shopping done I will take it.

{Dressing Up :: Ryker}

Ryker has the best imagination right now. This is one thing about this stage I am really enjoying. He is always dressing up and asking me to take his picture and then he has to check it for approval.
Silly.

{20 Week Baby Bump}

20 week baby bump.
Well I am now almost 22 weeks but this was actually taken at 20 weeks I am just trying to catch the blog up. Man I do not know how ya'll can keep up with your blogs and have more than one kid. I was good once upon a time and try REALLY hard to keep things up to date so my kids have these memories and their lives documented.

{Matching Brothers}

I love it when I dress the boys to match when I am not even planning it. I really do love matching outfits but Ryker is so very opinionated that most days I do not get any say in what he wears. They are so silly with each other. I am VERY excited to have all 3 of my boys match. I just bought their first matching outfits last week!!

{Craw Fish Boil}

Brady had is first experience with a craw fish boil. It has been years since I have been to one and was just as tasty and fun as I remembered when I was a kid. Of course our crazy picky eaters didn't eat anything other than fries and we even got them fried shrimp and tried telling Ryker they were like chicken nuggets and that they were his cousin John's favorite and still no go on tasting. They even had live music that we got to enjoy dancing to after dinner.

 Grayson's puffy eyes from crying too much about being stuck in the stroller while we ate.
 Rough life I know.

 The highlight for the boys was the balloon guy. We waited forever to get these and they didn't want to put them down for the rest of the night. Grayson had a total melt down when I had to take his away for 20 seconds to do up his buckles in his car seat. Silly guys.
Elephant.
 fish.

We sure do love living in the south and enjoying all kinds of fun redneck adventures {as Brady likes to call them}.

{Botanical Gardens :: Booths in Town}

Well Kelsey and the girls were looking for a nice warm southern spring break but I suppose they bring the cold weather with them wherever they go. Sadly we didn't have our nice 60 and 70 degree weather while they were here like we had the week before and after they left. But at least the sun was out and shining!

I love how much these kids love each other. As soon as they left Ryker kept asking when they were going to come back again. I feel so blessed that my children are able to know their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents and love spending time with them. This was something we did not have as children and always wished we did.
Grayson has to be just like the big kids.

They had all kinds of special sand exhibits for spring break and the kids had a blast digging and getting dirty and searching for dinosaur eggs.

I on the other hand am learning how to be OK with my kids getting dirty and becoming a pro at getting stains out of clothes! I guess this is part of living life.
