{Nashville Science Museum :: Booths in Town}

Kelsey and the girls came down for some warm weather for spring break. We decided to meet them in Nashville and play at the science museum and then Kels and I got to go out on a sisters date to yummy dinner and shopping without kids while Brady took all 4 kids home and got to put them all to bed. I am so lucky to have such an amazing hubby to do that and be happy about it.
 The boys had fun crawling in and out of the tunnel to see the dinosaurs.

 I know I cut off his eyes but I just love this smile too much not to share it! Man I hope his teeth stay that nice and straight!

 Did you know that most dinosaurs brains are the size of a walnut or smaller. Crazy for how big they were.
 Haha for some reason Grayson really liked hanging out with the boneless man.

Everyone had fun trying out the wheelchairs and shooting basketball. Good thing Brady had lots of practice in one back in school for a whole week. He did pretty awesome!

So excited these cute girls are in town!! We sure love our cousins and sister time. Its the best. Maybe someday Megan will live state side again and can join us. One can hope right?!?!

{Ryker's 1st Soccer Game}

Ryker's first Soccer Game!
He loves playing soccer and before his game he said "I'm going to win this game mama!" He is really good at running after the ball and other kids but is a bit afraid to kick the ball in games. Brady and I think this might have to do with how we have raised him. We are always telling him to share and not take things from other or not to kick people and now we are yelling from the sidelines "get the ball, kick it". I can see how that can be confusing for a 3 year old. But I think he will get the hang of it soon. He is having a blast and that is the most important part!

Grayson on the other hand is not very fond of our time spent at the soccer field because he has to stay strapped in the stroller or else he heads straight for the goal and wants to hang out in it.

{St. Patrick's Day Parade :: Huntsville}

We headed downtown to the St. Patrick's Day parade and the boys loved getting to sit in their camping chairs and see the dogs and of course eat candy. And I am a lame mommy and didn't even think to dress everyone in green because it was not actually on St. Pattys day. Oops.
Ryker and his buddy Carson.
They are best pals and its a good thing because I sure love his mama Jessie.

{Atlanta Getaway}

February was a bit of a rough month on me and I needed some girlfriend love so the boys and I headed over to Atlanta to spend the weekend with some of our favorite friends.

We had a blast at the zoo with the Christensen's and Partridge's. One of my favorite things with these friends and our kids is how much they love each other and how they can go months {like 6} without seeing each other and they pick up like they were just playing yesterday. Now that is true friendship and it warms my heart.
Grayson was finally big enough to actually enjoy the zoo for the first time and he LOVED it! It was so much fun to see the baby lions. So sweet.

 Of course we made a stop at our favorite snowball shop to enjoy some festive Mardi Gras flavored treats. I am so glad that Lindsey P. introduced us to this place. It is a family favorite and we wish daddy could have been with us but he had to stay home and start his new job.
 To say Grayson enjoyed his snowball is a bit of an understatement. It was so sweet Jack, Ella, and Ryker all had different flavors and decided to share them and would take a few bites and then say "switch".
 We got to check out Fernbank for the first time. It was pretty fun and the kids loved seeing the dinosaurs.

Thanks Erika and Brandon for letting us crash with you. It was so much fun staying up late and chatting the night away while eating treats and playing games. We are so lucky to have such fun friends and I am so grateful for their friendship and I wish we could always live close to one another.

{Snow Day's :: in Alabama}

What a crazy strange southern winter it has been. We finally got for REAL snow!! We were all super excited about this.... OK maybe Grayson ended up NOT being such a fan of the snow.
 This could have something to do with he was wearing boots that were 2 or 3 sizes too big so the poor kid could hardly walk and kept falling face first into the snow or maybe he kept pulling his gloves off and snow is COLD! He did much better on day 2 when he was in better shoes and it was not SO cold.

 Ryker on the other hand was over the moon to finally get to build Olaf. Ever since watching Frozen he has been talking about building a snowman. He didn't even care that it was super cold.

 Miserable baby ...
 we took him inside after this.
 The snow was not the best quality for building but daddy made it work!

 Wednesday night was the BEST!! It snowed from about 4pm to 4am and it was the perfect play in snow. Brady and I even went out and slid around on the driveway and streets and had our own snowball fight. It was the perfect winter night. You know the ones when the sky is purple and it is totally silent and the snow is dreamy. Yes I am a romantic. I was in heaven out there with my Love Dub! I had forgotten how much fun it is to kiss in the snow on a night like that. My only regret is that we didn't wake Ryker up to play in it. When we woke up it was all crunchy and not good snow anymore so he didn't get to enjoy it.
I did however shovel the driveway and MAN it has been a long time since I have done that and I totally forgot how much work that is. We loved the snow but I am sure looking forward to our 60 degree Monday and Tuesday so we can play at the park!

Happy Winter!

{Making Valentines}

Ryker and I sure had fun making Valentines to mail off. This is the first time that he has actually enjoyed doing a craft with me and it actually kept him busy for over an hour! It was so fun and I loved watching him get more creative with each valentine.

 I just love his cheeser smile and how his eyes are always closed when he does it. And then after I take it he always has to see it and he is so proud of himself for how it turned out! Cutie Pie!
 Some of our creations.
 Grayson was cute being entertained by this balls so we could get our craft on. I was surprised by how long he actually played with them. They were so successful we are going to try them at church and see if that helps him.

Love this baby face!

{Eviction Notice}

We are thrilled to announce that another Wood will be joining our family this August!! Ryker is VERY excited about another baby and is hoping it will be a sister - why you ask "because I already have a brother" -Ryker. I think Gray will LOVE having a baby around he LOVES babies. Anytime he sees a baby in their car seat he has to go over and see them. He is really sweet with them. Ryker was even asking for a sister before we found out we were expecting so I hope he will be OK if it is another brother?!

I have been MUCH sicker with this pregnancy than with either of the boys but THANK GOODNESS that seems to finally have passed. Now here is to hoping that I can get back in to regularly cleaning my house and cooking dinner for our family. I don't know what I would have done without cartoons those first 2 1/2 months. They saved us while I laid half dead on the couch and kept the boys somewhat entertained.

{Camp Fundraiser Dinner}

Being the girls camp director for our ward means I was in charge of their fundraiser dinner. The girls were all so cute and worked and served so hard. It was such a fun night and I loved seeing the girls thrive while giving service and me being new in Young Women's it was really fun to watch the girls preform their different talents.
 Our dessert bar.
It turned out so cute with all of the different tasty things to eat and Logan's art work.
 The girls made all of the decorations and food. The ambiance was just what I hoped for.

 Mia Maid Class

 Beehive Class
 Some of our girls talents. They are such talented artist and performers!

Some last minuet practice before their musical number.

This has been such a fun and hard calling for me. I am loving getting to know all of these beautiful girls and cant wait for more camp activities!
