{Anniston, Alabama}

Our dear friends Blake, Annie, and Ayla are spending the summer in Birmingham, Alabama which is only 3 hours from us. Annie and I decided it would be fun to meet half way and play for the day.
 We found this great park that had 3 play areas and was mostly shaded. I wish this park was down the street from my house. It was so fun. It even had a section of exercise equipment so you could do your workout while your kids play. I thought that was the most genius idea ever. We also got to eat yummy Greek food for lunch. I love finding yummy hole in the wall places and its even better when they have totally inexpensive priced food like this one.  Ryker has been in the new phase where he only wants "mommy's" not Ryker's - hence the big cut not sippy for water.
WIN. WIN. WIN.
 Annie found out about this cute little dairy farm. These calves were only 1 week old. Ryker and Ayla were having so much fun just watching them and loved listening to them "mooooooo". Ryker still has no fear of animals and was letting them lick his hands and he would laugh and say "it tickles". Too cute.
 This cool wall was screaming photo opt to me!
 Ryker loves tractors so when we saw this of course they "had" to sit on it. Ryker even took Ayla on their first "date" in it hahahah. He was trying "VERY" hard to figure out how to make it work. Ryker also found a new friend on the farm. This little dog and Ryker were instant friends. Ryker was in heaven. Too bad after letting him pet this fury friend all afternoon I saw swarms of bugs flying around him {the dog}. No clue what they were but Ryker didn't seem to mind and it was too late for me to do anything about it. Ooops! Well at least we are all still alive right?! ha.
 I just love the facial expressions little miss Ayla makes. They make me smile.
Don't mind my crazy face. Ryker was not  making this an easy photo and my face shows it all. haha.

We got to eat yummy freshly made ice cream from the dairy. Grape - interesting but tasty and Strawberry - it was AMAZING. All four of us totally loved every bite.

It was so fun to see these sweet girls and fun that it only took Ryker all of 3 minutes to warm up to them. We had such a fun, relaxing day out in the country. I can not wait to meet there a few more times this summer to make more fun memories. It was weird being out of the city but a nice change up for the afternoon.

Very fun! We loved our time in Alabama on the way to Destin. It's so different than big city Atlanta.
