Happy Birthday Aubs

Happy Birthday Aubs!! Thanks for being such a great friend over the past few years. I love that we both love design, to travel around the world, shopping, watching chick flicks, and hanging out with our mom's. I hate that you had to move back to California but I understand that is how life is when we have to grow up.

Always remember to keep being your fun loving self and living life to the fullest. I hope your London/Paris trip was a blast.

Love Linds

Happy Birthday Allie Jo

Dear Alexandra Jo,

I hope you have fun at your birthday party today. I am very sad that I will not be there with you to open presents and play games. Make sure to laugh lots and eat lots of your yummy cars cake. I just want to you know that seeing your smiling face always warms my heart and makes me smile. I hate how far away you live from me now but hopefully someday we will live close again so I can play with you at the park.

Make sure you are nice to mommy and daddy and tell them thank you for the amazing party. Also dont forget to tell them how much you love them. I cant wait to see you in 2 weeks!!! Dont cry we are going to have a second birthday party for you and your favorite Lime guy when we come to visit you.

Love you lots and lots!

Nightmere before Christmas Wedding

Jeff and Claudia Hill AKA Jack and Sally were married Saturday March 21. This was their cake topper to go along with the wedding theme.
The lovely bride and groom coming out of the temple.
These were the table center pieces and they were very creative and fit the theme perfect. Melinda please do not let Rylee see this we would not want to give her any ideas for her wedding in 20 + years. I know she will love the cake topper and will hold you to it for her wedding and then you and Matt might want to kill me.

Delta gang at the temple with Jeff.

I know we are not Jewish but they thought it would be fun to carry the bride and groom around the room on chairs and dance.
I know you are all wondering where is the glass cup smash... sorry we forgot to have them do that one.

I think poor Claudia was terrified of falling but she was a good sport and went along with it.

Finished Finished!

So last night I finally finished Breaking Dawn. I know I got it for Christmas and its taken me forever but it has been completed. I loved the series and feel like a little school girl for that but they were very entertaining books for me to read.
Alright girls I know most of you have read these books now that I am finished I want to hear your thoughts on this last one. I know a lot of people were not very fond of it.... I admit it does push things a bit far on your imagination. But none the less I really liked it and I am glad it ended happy!

Being crafty with the gals

Thursday night we decided to have a craft night and make flower magnets and clips for our hair. We decided that you can not have a girls craft night without watching a chick-flick. So Moulin Rouge was chosen and we all belted every song while being crafty with our hands.

We were well prepared with tons of supplies and its a good thing because we used most of it!

But look how cute they turned out! We loved them and we even decided to make some hair clips for our selves and I made a few for my Allie Jo.

We were very proud of ourselves for how cute they turned out. Oh and so a few 3 of you can be excited also I made a few for you for my "Paying it Forward" so I need your addresses so I can bring them to you (Tiffany, Jessica, Marissa)

We had so much fun that we are going to do this monthly now. All of the wives will have a craft night and all of our husbands get a guys night to giggle like school girls and play nickle poker.

Canning for our food storage

Last week was my first time to the cannery. My mum and sister went obey the Prophet and work on our food storage. I had no idea that it would be so much fun!! We got to weigh all the food and wear some adorable hair nets and aprons. Hey we even got to sample the dried apple slices. Yummm... they were so tasty!

The sister missionary who was helping us was very sweet also. Its funny how old people don't give you instructions but then they get frustrated that you are doing it wrong when they never told you what to do in the first place.

All n'all we had a wonderful time and now we are prepared! I love following the Prophet he is such a wise man!

If you have never been to the cannery I suggest going. It was a blast and we got a lot done.

Peep finally ready for eating

As most of you know we love Easter candy and holiday candy in general. We always have a bowl of it on the table if you have ever been to our house you know what I am speaking of. That is how I was raised and so it is a must! This morning was a wonderful morning. As I was sitting at the table eating breakfast I looked at the candy bowl and saw the peep's sitting in it. The thing about that is I like my peep's kinda stale and Brady likes his soft. So we put mine in the bowl to get hard and they have been out for two weeks and finally they were just right to eat! Yummm.... a stale, sugarier marshmallow!!! Life doesn't get much better than that :)

Field trip to The Bean Museum

On Friday Megan and I decided it would be fun to take the little Lime guy to the Bean Museum for their first time. I know crazy that Megan has lived here for 16 years and has never been to this museum but now she has!!
Liam loved seeing all of the animals and it was so cute to see his face when he got close to them and then he would tell us what that animal says.

The only one that really scared him was the Kodiak Bear that was standing tall at about 8 feet with its paws up and a grrrrrrr.... face.
I had no idea that hippopotamus had such HUGE tongues. I am so grateful to have such a cool sister and nephew who live so close to us and that we get to play so much. Families are the best and I dont know what I would do without them.

Virgo and Aries sitting in a tree k.i.s.s.i.n.g

I have never been one much into zodiac signs but I got this email today and it is kinda scary how accurate mine is... I am a Virgo and this is me through and through minus the often shy and pessimistic part. I am so the opposite.

VIRGO - The Perfectionist (Aug 23 - Sept 22 )Dominant In relationships. Conservative. Always wants the last word Argumentative. Worries. Very smart. Dislikes noise and chaos. Eager.. Hardworking. Loyal. Beautiful. Easy to talk to. Hard to please. Harsh. Practical and very fussy. Often shy. Pessimistic.
Brady on the other hand is not so accurate. He is far from being impatient... he puts up with me ya know! Far from being selfish, so not short fused, and he is not easily bored. But the rest is totally him... especially the physical and athletic part. He is totally one of those guys who tries a new sport for the first time and is amazing at it. It drives me nuts because I have to try really hard to be good at sports even though I love to play them.

ARIES - The Daredevil (Mar 21 - April 19 )Energetic. Adventurous and spontaneous. Confident and enthusiastic Fun. Loves a challenge. EXTREMELY impatient. Sometimes selfish. Short fuse. (Easily angered.) Lively, passionate, and sharp wit. Outgoing. Lose interest quickly - easily bored. Egotistical. Courageous and assertive. Tends to be physical and athletic.

If you have not read your zodiac in awhile do it. I just might surprise you how accurate it is and make you laugh.

Mardi Gras Party and Happy Birthday Mugs-e-Moo

Mardi Gras was on Tuesday and Brady and I decided to host a masquerade at our house and we had a great turn out. Lots of yummy food, crazy fun friends, and games. A Tuesday doesn't get much better than that. We were happy to see just about everyone came with masks also! Thanks friends for being such good sports!
Brady was not too thrilled about having to wear a mask and this was the most masculine one we could find and it still did not meet his satisfaction. But he was a good husband and still wore it :) thanks Brady!!
I loved my mask... I think I kinda look like catwoman with purple side burns. I did make a really yummy King Cake with Megan for the party and I forgot to take a picture. It was supper tasty and looked lots better than the one I made for Mugs birthday party on Sunday. There is an art to making them and Megs and I finally figured it out.
Liam was all about strutting his stuff with the Mardi Gras beads and at Megs birthday party on Sunday. Is he not just the cutest little guy or what?
Last week was Megan's 27th birthday!
We went bowling for her birthday and let me just tell you the three of us are pretty amazing bowlers.... Liam was leading for most of the game.... like I said really good at the game!
Sorry our mom didn't teach us all her mad bowling skills she learned in her college bowling class. Now that is a true story and she really is an amazing bowler. But she always wanted to beat us girls I guess and didn't pass her talent on to us.
Mugs-e-moo is my oldest sister and one of my best friends (Kell-a-bell is my other bff). She is so much fun to hang out with and I love just being silly with her. It has been really fun not working the last few weeks and spending lots of time with Megan and Liam. She is always full of good advice and a listening ear. Thanks for being such a great sister. We love you Mugs!

Good times with the Family

Sorry it has been so long since I have done a post... this one will be a long one. Last weekend we went to Delta for Valentine's Day and to see Jamie, Dave, and Savannah. Savannah has some really cool foam blocks at Grandma and Grandpa's house that I think I had more fun with then she did.
Check out my sweet house I built... don't worry I had to build it while Savannah was in the tub and then as soon as she got out she came and kicked it over. That is her favorite thing to do with the blocks. Destruction!

Max and Merilee threw a Valentines Day dinner party for all of us. As you can see Brady and I were enjoyed appetising on the shrimp - Yummy!

Megan, Liam and I went to mom's school last week for her anti Valentine's Day chocolate party. It was a great success! As you can tell I am not very good at taking pictures of us... sorry mom.
Ok this is better a full shot of my beautiful mom! Love you!!! And Mum and Pappy thanks so much for the beautiful flowers, jammies, and movie.
Liam thought he was such a stud hanging out in the computer lab like all the big kids. We get 'em started at a young age on working the computer in our family!
Kell-a-bell this is the video you have been waiting for. When you watch this video of the little Lime guy be prepared to laugh your face off at his animal noises. Sorry it has taken me so long to post this my computer has been having issues uploading videos.
